Period Property Renovated Using Our Flooring And Beams

Beautiful Property Oak Renovation

This magnificent period property has been refurbished internally and externally to a very high standard, and we are very pleased we were chosen to supply the beams and flooring.

The property is a 14th Century Tudor manor house, which of course meant the owner needed specific permissions, and a very specific list of building materials, including reclaimed oak beams, and reclaimed oak flooring to carry out the renovation.

As you will see from the pictures following the age of the reclaimed oak beams we supplied needed to be in keeping with the age of the property, most of which were between 150 - 300 years old.

The flooring supplied was our re-sawn oak from reclaimed oak, machined and finished. And as you can see it really compliments the rooms in which it has been fitted.

Framed oak dinning room with wooden floor and furniture.

Here you can see the flooring supplied beautifully finished with beeswax. The reclaimed oak beams in the roof have also been finished with an oil-based wax.

Oak framed kitchen.

Here you can see the stunning kitchen area. Many of the roof beams and uprights were supplied by us.

Oak framed lounge with a piano and a big fireplace.

Here is a very good view of the flooring supplied. Re-sawn from reclaimed beams machined to 27 mm with a half lap rebate.

Large bedroom with oak frames beams with a bed in the middle.

The beams in the roof were already there, but the beams to the left were supplied by us.

Large Medievil style oak table with twenty chairs in a brick wall room.

Here you can see again the beautiful flooring. We also supplied the oak that was used to fabricate the minstrels balcony at the end. We also supplied and constructed the medieval-style table from reclaimed oak. The table is 8m long and completely hand crafted. It took a small army of us to carry into the room!
